Coupon Lingo

You will see alot of the following abbreviations used and until you get used to them it will be very confusing – I know it was for me!  Here are most that you will see me using.
MQ = Manufacturer Coupon
WYB = When You Buy
BOGO = Buy One Get One
MIR = Mail In Rebate
NPBR = No Beer Purchase Required Rebate (these are the best!)
NLA = No Longer Available (hope you printed while it was avialable!)
CAT = Catalina coupon (called that because the machine that prints them and the company that offers them is called Catalina – nearly all couponers shorten it to CAT.  If you are expecting a CAT make sure the green light is lit on the CAT machine when checking out)
RP = Red Plum
SS = Smart Source
P&G = Procter & Gamble
+UPS = Up Rewards = Rite Aid Store Cash Coupons
ECB = Extra Care Bucks = CVS Store Cash Coupons
OOP = Out Of Pocket
OYNO = On Your Next Order (prints at register for future use on any purchase)
YMMV = Your Mileage May Vary (not every store within a chain handles every coupon the same – most are great but some are run by coupon Nazi’s, which is why I say get to know your stores)
